A must for the first time visitors to Kuala Lumpur (KL)! They say the best way to get to know a new city is through a tour.

When the sun goes down, a different set of light brightens up the city. This tour takes you to an open air bazaar of Chinatown where it is liveliest in the evening, a Hindu temple and to cap the evening off with a sumptuous Malay dinner accompanied with a cultural show.

Sri Mariamman Temple is the oldest Hindu Temple in Kuala Lumpur. It is situated in China town Area. The temple was built to provide the early Southern Indian migrants and traders a place to worship.

Take a stroll through this boisterous and festive open air bazaar of Chinatown's night market where watches, cheap textiles and bags are sold. You will find a common scene of locals and foreigners engaging in price bargains.

You will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Selangor Pewter factory, is the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world, renowned for its high quality products and exceptional craftsmanship. During the tour of the factory, you will learn and experience the different processes such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving of pewter products.

A visit to the Batik factory will show you how local batik, the art of decorating cloth with wax and dye to create wonderful colours and patterns, is made.

The renowned limestone hills of Batu Caves north of Kuala Lumpur attract thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Thaipusam Festival. Approximately 50 minute drive out of Kuala Lumpur is Putrajaya, Malaysia's new federal administrative centre. The architecture in Putrajaya is predominantly modern Arabic in style. First stop is at Putrajaya Government Centre, where numerous new government complexes are located in this new township.
Standing beside Dataran Putra and facing the Putrajaya Lake, is the Putra Mosque. No doubt, the most imposing structure, this pinkish mosque incorporates architectural elements from Turkestan, Kazakhstan and Morocco. The Prime Minister's office, Putra Perdana is the eye catching building on the main hill with mixed architectural influences of Islamic and European cultures. Other interesting places include the 435 metre three-deck Putra Bridge which provides vehicle, monorail and pedestrian access.

Malacca is a UNESCO heritage site, the historic colonial towns is a living testimony to the multi-cultural heritage of traditional Asia and European colonial influences. Here many battles has been fought to gain control of this strategic base located between the Eastern and Western world leading to the monopoly and control of the lucrative East Indies' spice trade. When the early European settlers departed, they left behind a treasure trove of historical buildings and landmarks synonymous to Malacca today.

Lunch (optional) will be served at a local Peranakan restaurant and after lunch, the groups will then continue on the tours mentioned above before all adjourned at Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese belief under the same roof: Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. After visiting Cheng Hoon Teng, group will walk towards Kampung Kling Mosque (photo stop) and Jonker Street (Antique Row).

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highland
Morning depart from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron, approximately 03hours by land.
Estimated arrival at 1200hrs, proceed for Countryside Tour.

Located at 1,542metres above sea level, Cameron Highlands is noted for its tea plantations, beautiful highland sceneries, and agricultural activities. View the most scenic tea plantation, the Sungei Palas Boh estate which is regarded as the largest and best known tea station in the region. Take a tea break after the brief guided tour of the factory. After the refreshing tea break, our next visit will be the cactus valley, vegetable farming, butterfly farm and not forgetting the strawberry farm. Stop at day market where most of the local produce can be found. Tour end in the late afternoon; check in at your preferred hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Return Cameron Highland – Kuala Lumpur
Morning check out and depart back to Kuala Lumpur.

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart Kuala Lumpur – Penang
Morning depart from Kuala Lumpur to Penang by overland, approximately 04hours drive; by flight approximately 55minutes. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to your preferred hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Georgetown Sightseeing
The capital city of Penang, Georgetown was named after King George III of England. Take a drive through historical Georgetown visiting amongst others sites, the most prominent buildings of the colonial era that are now protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stop at Fort Cornwallis that once belonged to the English East India Company and where Captain Francis Light first landed in 1786. Next, visit the State Museum, built in 1821 and which showcases a fine collection of antiques as well as other historical relics that showcase Penang's culture and heritage. Enjoy an authentic trishaw ride through the heart of Georgetown and be fascinated by its charming colonial architecture, the modern skyscrapers of bustling Chinatown and all the colour of Little India. Stop at one of the most magnificent clan houses, Khoo Kong Si. The building features intricate carvings and woodwork bearing the mark of master craftsmen from China. Lastly, visit the majestic Thai Buddhist Temple, Wat Chayamangkalaram, which houses one of the world's largest reclining Buddhas at 33metres. This gold-plated reclining statue has long fascinated foreign tourists.

Langkawi is identifiable as an archipelago of 99 tropical islands surrounded by turquoise-blue waters. Dominated by Langkawi Island, it is one of Malaysia's most-visited destinations, with white sand beaches and tropical forests. Featuring a striking landscape, the island also plays host to various historical sites as well as several fascinating tourist attractions. Be transported back in time with the enthralling folklore and fascinating legends of Langkawi.

Visit the Crocodile farm and perceive the quaint villages with paddy fields at Air Hangat Village. Then, visit Galeria Perdana with a pass by at the black sand beach. Stopover at Mahsuri Memorial and learn the curious fold tale of the village beauty Mahsuri and Eagle Square, the landmark of Langkawi.

At the end of the tour, you will enjoy the exhilarating 920m long cable car ride to the summit of the famous Mount Mat Cincang. Visitors can enjoy marvelous views of the Andaman Sea and the other 98 islands in the group, as well as amazing sights such as overhanging cliff walls and isolated pinnacles.

Day 3: Northern Mangrove Tour
Take a trip to Langkawi's secret forest; the fascinating mangroves of Langkawi which are uniquely connected to awesome limestone rock formations and sheer rock outcroppings. Recognize as a UNESCO Geopark, its unique geology, flora and fauna are now accessible to tourists. These mangrove forests play an integral role in protecting the coastline. You may encounter intriguing organisms such as mudskippers, crabs, dragonflies and monitor lizards and amongst the trees are the monkeys, birds like the rare Brown Winged Stork-bill Kingfisher and the amazing birds of prey. If you are lucky, as the boat travels along the river you will see various types of mangrove animals such as otters and Long-tailed Macaques.

Visit the bat cave and then explore the enchanting crocodile cave by boat. Visit a fish farm where its aquaculture activities are an important industry on the island. Tame fish will tickle your fingertips as you feed them! Watch birds of prey such as Brahminy Kites swoop down from the sky to feed. Tour ends with lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Depart Langkawi

Breakfast at hotel and free at leisure till pick-up to Langkawi airport for your onward flight.

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart for Kuching
Meet at your hotel and transfer to KLIA Airport for your flight to Kuching. Arrive Kuching Airport and proceed for city tour of Kuching. A City Tour of Kuching, a quaint and lovely City, it was the Capital of the personal Kingdom of Sir James Brooke, better known as the White Rajah. There are many historical buildings in the City including the Square and Round Towers, the colonial Courthouse, General Post Office, Fort Magherita and the Astana. Visit the Cat Monument, City Hall, and the Tua Pek Kong - oldest Chinese Temple in the city and the famed Sarawak Museum reputed to house the best ethnographies collections in Southeast Asia. Drive through quaint Malay kampung (villages) to explore the centre of the City passing through the colourful India Street and traditional shop houses. If time permits, take a walk on the Waterfront with its outdoor cafes and watch sampans plying the Sarawak River ferrying passengers from one side of the river to the other.

(Note: Sarawak Museum & Cat Museum are closed on the first day of public holidays)

Day 2: AM – Semenggoh Orang Utan Tour, PM – Sarawak Cultural Village
After breakfast, visit the Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. The entire facility occupies an area of 740 acres, the only remaining green belt near to the City offering a sanctuary for Orang Utans. The Centre is a temporary home for displaced Orang Utans also known as “men of the jungle”. They have been rescued from captivity or are young orphans and are trained or re-trained to survive in their natural surroundings. Take a walk on the trails and try to spot semi-wild Orang Utans. There are feeding times scheduled every day at the feeding platform. On returning to the city, stop for a visit to a pottery for a close up look at nimble hands fashioning works of art. Watch the potter at his wheel and see what happens when pieces of clay is baked and then painted. This is also a good place to pick up souvenirs as a keepsake of your trip.

Later, proceed to Sarawak Culture Village, a unique award winning living museum offering an excellent introduction to local cultures and lifestyles. It is located at the foothill of the legendary Mount Santubong, fronting the South China Sea. The village also called the “Living Museum” because people live in the houses & create their handicraft and traditional snacks.

The Village has seven representative ethnic house – Bidayuh Longhouse, Iban Longhouse, Penan Hut Orang Ulu Longhouse, Melanau Tall House, Malay House and & Chinese Farm House. Observe the lifestyle, arts, craft, game, foods, clothes & music of 7 major cultural of Sarawak. Enjoy yourself with a fascinating performance of the multi – culture dance in village’s own theater. There is also a good restaurant and handicraft shop on – site.

Day 3: Depart from Kuching
Departs to Kuching Airport for your onwards flight after breakfast. Tours end.

Day 1: Depart for Kota Kinabalu
Meet at your hotel and transfer to KLIA Airport for your flight to Kota Kinabalu. Arrive in Kota Kinabalu Airport and check in to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Half Day City Tour
After breakfast, proceed for city tour of Kota Kinabalu. An introduction to Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah – The Land Below The Wind and its suburbs. Tour includes Signal Hill, Sabah Foundation Building (one of the largest hanging structure in the world. Po Toh Tze Buddhist Temple, State Museum which display artifacts from Sabah's Past and modern work of art, State Mosque which is a spectacular sight of structure with its majestic domes and gold motifs, Tanjung Aru Beach - the famous long sandy public beach with a lots of Hawker Stalls.
